Should I repair or replace my garage door?
If your door is under 15 years old and the damage is limited to one component, repair usually makes sense. If the door is older, the damage is structural, or you’re calling for repairs more than once a year, replacement is usually the better long-term value. We’ll give you an honest recommendation either way.
Can I fix a broken spring myself?
We don’t recommend it. Springs, cables and anything tied to the door’s tension system hold enough stored energy to cause serious injury if released incorrectly. Leave the door closed and call a professional.
Do you work on my brand of door or opener?
Yes. We service doors from Clopay®, Amarr®, Overhead Door®, Raynor, Wayne Dalton, CHI, Haas and Northwest Door, and openers from LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Craftsman, Linear, Sommer and Marantec.
Will my homeowners insurance cover the repair?
It depends on the cause. Most policies cover sudden, accidental damage, like a storm, a vehicle backing into the door or vandalism, but not wear and tear like a broken spring. If your damage might qualify, we can document it with photos and an itemized estimate for your claim.
